6 Days Tanzania Classic Safari

Unlike a camping safari, our 6 Days Tanzania Classic Safari will provide you with comfort in safari lodges inside the borders of Tanzania’s national parks, giving a better level of comfort than spending overnights in Tanzania’s public budget camping. Six days will be spent traveling across northern Tanzania, visiting four notable safari areas, including the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Lake Manyara. This program may be expanded as follows:

Recommended itinerary

Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 8:30 a.m. and head for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day wildlife drive. Tanzania’s third largest national park is famous for its gigantic baobab trees, which tower over the animals that graze underneath them. The Tarangire River is the focal point of this park, which is known for having some of Africa’s greatest elephant populations. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, smaller kudus, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras may all be found here. Following the wildlife drive, you will return to your lodge for a sumptuous supper.

After a hearty breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, where you will journey across the never-ending plain grasslands. The Serengeti is undoubtedly the world’s most stunning wildlife refuge. You will go on an afternoon wildlife drive over the boundless plains of the Serengeti, where you will have the opportunity to observe large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as a pride of lions lazing in the shade. During the day’s game drive, a picnic lunch will be served. The adventurous day concludes with a hearty meal and a pleasant night’s sleep in your lodging.

After a hearty breakfast, you will go on a full-day game drive across the Serengeti National Park’s center region. For its tremendous number of lions and leopards, the iconic Serengeti National Park is the most famous safari destination. The Serengeti’s middle region, known as the Seronera sector, is one of the park’s greatest animal areas. It includes the Seronera River, which offers a key water source to the region and so attracts fauna that is typical of the majority of Serengeti species. During the migration’s off season, keep an eye out for the many lion prides that flourish in this region. All year long, the relationships and survival of these lion prides give a superb game viewing experience. The day will end at 5 p.m. after a picnic lunch on the full-day game drive. The long day concludes with a hearty meal and a pleasant night’s sleep at your lodging.

Following breakfast, you will go on a morning wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park. After that, travel towards the Ngorongoro Crater Rim with a picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s biggest collapsed volcano crater and fourteen kilometers of solitary natural splendor. The Ngorongoro Crater is ringed by a ring of extinct volcanoes, and the bottom, which is filled with drinking holes, is home to some 30,000 species. The adventurous day concludes with a hearty meal and a pleasant night’s sleep in your lodging.

After an early breakfast, depart for a game drive on the crater floor (5 hours). Lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and other birds can be expected. In Crater Lake, birds spotted include an eagle, vulture, and flamingos, as well as a stork, bats, a huge vulture, a sacred ibis, a kori bustard, a blacksmith plover, a long-necked heron, and a cattle eagle. Following your picnic lunch by the stunning Hippo pool, you will begin a difficult ascent to the crater’s top exit. The day will come to an end with a 2-hour journey to your Karatu lodging. A wonderful freshly prepared meal is kept ready for you at your selected lodging. All of these safari days will leave you exhausted, and a good night’s sleep is crucial. The next day, you will undertake the final stage of your safari.

The last day of your safari will begin at 8:00 a.m., following a delectable breakfast. Today’s destination is Arusha via Manyara National Park, where you will have a half-day wildlife drive. As you approach the national park before 9 a.m., beautiful forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees begin to set the tone for what is to come. The game drive will go until mid-afternoon, with a brief stop for a picnic lunch. While on the wildlife drive, keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. The tree climbing lions are another attraction of the Lake Manyara National Park, although locating them is a game of chance. By mid-afternoon, you’ll split up and proceed to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your choice destination by 6 p.m. This is the moment to say farewell to your team after a fantastic adventure and a lifetime of memories.
