Day 1: Lake Manyara N.P - Karatu.
Leave Arusha very early in the morning with our lunch boxes. Do a game drive in L.Manyara N.P. Having lunch in the park then in the afternoon drive to Karatu village for dinner and overnite.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu.
Early in the morning at around 6am breakfast then we leave with our lunch boxes to the crater. Stopping at the gate and at the view point 2400m above sea level. We then drive around the rim and descend to the crater floor 650m deep. We explore the crater, searching for the left members of the BIG 5 which we haven't spotted yet! We have lunch in the crater then in the afternoon we drive back to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Karatu - Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast drive to Tarangire. There is an option of visiting the Iraqwa tribe and visiting their huts with a professional guide at an extra cost. We stop at the campsite for a hot lunch then after lunch we do an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife, meals and overnight at our campsite.

Day 4. Tarangire - Arusha.
After breakfast we have an option of enjoying a morning game drive in the Tarangire National Park. Return to campsite for lunch, and in the afternoon depart for Arusha. Option of stopping and visiting the Meserani Snake Park and maasai museum is available at an extra cost

Day 1: Arusha National Park - Mto wa Mbu.
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch for Arusha National Park. Here is an option of walking with an armed ranger for about 1 or 2 hours at an extra cost. This is the only national park in the northern circuit where walking is allowed. After lunch we start to drive to Lake Manyara. We arrive at the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast drive in the park for about 4-5 hrs then return to the campsite for lunch and rest. There is a swimming pool at the campsite!(Jambo/Twiga camps) Option of walking, biking or just walking around by yourself. With an extra guide there will be an extra fee. Dinner and overnight at the same campsite.


Day 3: Manyara - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for Serengeti with our lunch boxes passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of Leakey’s family discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. We visit the museum and receive a lecture while having lunch. After lunch we proceed to Serengeti National Park, stopping at the Naabi hill gate for a short break we then do an afternoon game drive as we heading to the Seronera public campsite for meals and overnight at the campsite.



Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Very early morning game drive in Serengeti plains, search for wild game you might have missed the previous game drive. Drive back to the campsite for a hot lunch then start to drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Game en route on the way back and you have an option of visiting a Maasai Boma (village) before arriving at the Simba public campsite for dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu
Early in the morning after breakfast, drive to and  descend down the Crater in a 4-wheel drive vehicle will take you 2000ft down to the crater. Ascend back to campsite for hot lunch and the drive to Karatu village for dinner and overnight.


Day 6 Arusha
After breakfast, there is an option of visiting the Iraqwa tribe and visiting their huts with a professional guide at an extra cost, or visiting the Meserani Snake Park and Maasai museum is available at extra cost. Or just depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time.

 

Note that: on this itinerary, on day 5 and 6, you can have an option of visiting the Bushmen at Lake Eyasi, and do hunting with the Hadzabe tribe hunters with spears at an extra cost.(This option is highly recommended!)

Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara
Leave Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving at the campsite for lunch. After lunch drive into the park which is 10min from the campsite. Afternoon game drive then return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Manyara - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for Serengeti with our lunch boxes passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of Leakey’s family discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Day 3: Serengeti (full day)
Early in the morning we start searching for animals in the plains of Serengeti. Return to the campsite for lunch and siesta. In the afternoon about 3pm we leave for an afternoon game drive then return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.


Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro
After breakfast do another morning game drive, then start to head to Ngorongoro. Lunch at the Naabi hill gate. Option to visit one of the maasai villages and experience their way of living at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the simba public campsite.

Day 5: Ngorongoro crater - Tarangire
After early breakfast  descend down to the crater bottom (650m). A full day game drive in the crater. Plenty of animals to view, big herds of wildebeest and zebras, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, gazelles antelopes, flamingos at the lake and black rhinos in a clear lucky day. Yet another chance to complete the left members of the big five! We do a game drive for 4 hours then return to the campsite for hot lunch. After lunch we pack out things and start to head for Tarangire. Dinner and overnight at the Kigongoni campsite.

Day 6: Full day in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast we leave with our lunch boxes to the park, we have lunch in the park with an overview of the Tarangire river where the big heards of thirsty elephants will be drinking water. We continue with the game drive then return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Tarangire -  Arusha
After breakfast, we pack our things then drive back to Arusha for lunch. Option of stopping and visiting the Meserani Snake Park and maasai museum is available at an extra cost.
